Q.What kind of battery does your product run on and is it easily replaceable?
A. The DB1 and WPT Buttons take a standard 1.5 volt watch battery (size L1131). DB2 and the DB2 limited Edition take a 3 volt battery (size AG2032).
The battery can easily be replaced simply by opening the battery cover on the backside of the DB Dealer to access the battery compartment.
Q.How do you prevent players from messing with timer as it is passed around the table?
A.All DB Dealer models have two features to prevent the blinds from being interfered with.
1) An audible beep will sound whenever a button is pressed to alert you that someone has accidentally pressed a button.
2) Once the round has begun, the only function the DB Dealer will allow is to pause and restart the timer. You cannot add time to the round. In order to adjust the time you must reset the timer. Resetting the timer requires the reset button to be depressed for two seconds.
Q. Which of the buttons is the loudest?
A.The DB2 model and the DB2 Limited Edition because they use a 3 volt battery.
Q.How long do the batteries last?
A.The batteries should last one to two years depending on use. To save battery life all models will automatically shut off when not in use for 2 hours.
Q.How do I tell the difference between the BET CLOCK and the BLIND TIMER on DB2 models?
A.On the screen when the bet clock is running it only shows only 2 digits and no colon (example “30”, meaning “30 seconds”). When the blind timer is running 3 or more digits with a colon (example “2:11”, meaning 2 minutes and 11 seconds) are shown.
Q.What does the LED light do on the DB2 models?
A.The Super-bright LED light is used in conjunction with the warning alarm. It mirrors the beeping of the warning alarm. If there is rapid beeping the LED light will also rapidly flash at the same time as the warning alarm. This is useful in such situations when playing with the television on or when playing with other loud distractions.
Q.How do I turn my Digital Dealer Button off?
A.To save battery life all models will automatically shut off when not in use for 2 hours. This way you don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving it on.
